Jubilee 3

Firstly the definition of Jubilee:

  1. A specially celebrated anniversary, especially a 50th anniversary;
  2. A season or an occasion of joyful celebration;
  3. Jubilation; rejoicing;
  4. In the Hebrew Scriptures, a year of rest to be observed by the Israelites every 50th year, during which slaves were to be set free, alienated property restored to the former owners, and the lands left untilled.

The Original Word

Jubilee is derived from the word: Yovel which carries three meanings – “Ram’s horn“, “Jubilee” and “to be carried”. The time will come when we will be “yoveled”, carried off, to our eternal resting place; to the LORD.

Jubilee is found in the Holy Bible in: Leviticus 25:8-13

This message is based on a prophecy from: Judah Ben Samuel which was given in the year 1217.

 Ludwig Schneider of Israel Today magazine in 2008 translated Judah Ben Samuel’s work into English. Here is the prophecy:

 Judah Ben Samuel published the results of his biblical calculations (Gematria) and astrological observations and summarized as follows: “When the Ottomans (Turks) – who were already a power to be reckoned with on the Bosporus in the time of Judah Ben Samuel – conquer Jerusalem they will rule over Jerusalem for eight jubilees. Afterwards Jerusalem will become no-man’s land for one jubilee, and then in the ninth jubilee it will once again come back into the possession of the Jewish nation – which would signify the beginning of the Messianic end time.”

Most of this prophecy has been accurately fulfilled as follows:

Jubilee

Time Frame in years

Historical Account

Eight Jubilees

1517 – 1917

(400 years)

Ottoman Empire rules over Israel. This ended during World War I

One Jubilee (no man’s land)

1917 – 1967

(50 years)

Although the Nation of Israel obtained its statehood in 1948, it was not until the 6 day War of 1967 that it was fully established. Between 1917 and 1948 it was being held by England under a mandate from the League of Nations.

One Jubilee (Messianic End Time)

1967 – 2017

(50 years)

There is a high probability that at the end of this time frame, the Lord Jesus Christ will return and “carry away” his bride and there will be the sounding of the “horn”. And there will be a time of great jubilation.

I Thessalonians 4:16-18

    I find it to be quite interesting, how it was broken down, I like it, however the time span, and 2017 time that may or may not come is what I have a concern about.

      Hello Ricky, I note your concern about 2017. Please note that this year is NOT cast in concrete, it is only in the realm of probability. So please do NOT let it become a stumbling block. Look up every day, and expect the Lord’s return each and every day and you can’t go wrong.

    Well it is not a problem really, I know that the Bible says no man knows the day or the hour only the Father, however it also says u have to know the time and season. Pastor John Hagee had preached on the 4 blood moons, which the 1st will be on april 15, almost on the same line as you are.
