B1=D2 or B2 = D1: The choice is yours
This is basic spiritual math. Almost like kindergarten stuff. What it means is, if you are only born once, you will die twice, but if you are born twice, you will only die once.
Hey, are you trying to say that you can die twice? Well duh? check this out:
Revelation 2:11 (Jesus speaking)
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
So, you may ask, what in the world is the ‘second death’ ?
Matthew 10:27,28 (Jesus speaking)
27 What I tell you in darkness that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. 28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Death is separation. The first death is the separation of the soul and spirit from the body. The body is just the outter shell of a man, and is just dust. The real you lives on the inside. That is your spirit and your soul (mind, will and emotions). These are the parts that will live on for eternity.
The crunch question is, where will your soul spend its eternity? What will determine this? This is where the question of the second birth comes in. Jesus explained this to Nicodemus, in the Gospel of John.
John 3:1-7
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
So, here is where the term ‘born again’ was originated, by the Lord Jesus himself. Today, this is a fairly well known term. The un-regenerated soul will often scoff and scorn this concept, because Satan has blinded their minds, and would like them to join him in hell for all eternity.
What are your first thoughts, when you hear this term: ‘BORN AGAIN’? The enemy understands that if he can keep you away from this he will continue to have you in his kingdom, which is the kingdom of darkness. In the whole earth, there are only 2 Kingdoms!
There is firstly the Kingdom of God, where Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
Revelation 11:15
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, THE KINGDOMS OF THIS WORLD ARE BECOME THE KINGDOMS OF OUR LORD, AND OF HIS CHRIST; AND HE SHALL REIGN FOR EVER AND EVER.
And there is the Kingdom of darkness (here is where all religions, cults and everything else reside).
Ephesians 6:12
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
So the lines are clearly drawn out, Two Kingdoms, with no middle ground. We also know that the Kingdom of God will be victorious! These two Kingdoms, each has its own pathway and gate:
Matthew 7:13,14 (Jesus speaking)
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
I always laugh to myself when people would say that we are so ‘narrow-minded’. I agree with them, but this is the way to eternal life.
Sinner’s Prayer
Are you ready to be Born Again? The greatest miracle that anyone can experience is the miracle of the new birth! Where the Holy Spirit is fused to your spirit and you become a new creature. [We all, who are called by Christ, had to do this.]
II Corinthians 5:17
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
The key is to really mean it as you pray, and earnestly believe that the Lord Jesus will come and meet with you.
Revelation 3:20 (Jesus speaking)
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and sup with him, and he with me.
Pray this Prayer out loud to the Lord:
Dear Lord Jesus,
I come to you today, a sinner. Lord, I am in need of your saving grace through your precious blood that was shed for me at the cross of Calvary.
Lord, I ask that you cleanse me with that blood. Lord, I invite you to come into my heart by your wonderful Holy Spirit. Jesus, be my Lord and my Saviour. Cause the miracle of the new birth to take place within me so that I can be saved.
Lord Jesus, I thank you for hearing my prayer. I will now live to please you, and I will let the Holy Spirit guide me as I read your Word, which is the Holy Bible.
I thank you Lord for forgiving me of all my sins and making me a new creature.
Thank you for being my Lord and Saviour.
