The Valley of Dry Bones

As the recession progresses in Trinidad and Tobago, it is important to note that if God’s people position themselves correctly, they can be immune to the ravages of financial hardships that may affect other people. The key is to prophesy (or speak) over your job, your business or any other endeavor that you may have. Today, a recession can be likened as to a famine that affected those that lived in Biblical times.

Genesis 26:1/12-13

And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar.

12 Then Isaac sowed in that same land, and received in the same year an hundred fold: and the LORD blessed him. 13 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:

Because of the covenant relationship that Christians have with the LORD, we can draw on His provision, because we have Him as our provider. Even in the event that you may have lost your job or your business, the LORD is well able to restore unto you something that is even better, you just need to believe and stand in faith. This is the concept behind the message of the Valley of Dry Bones. what is impossible with man is possible with God.

Therefore rather than worrying about what is happening around you, focus on God and His greatness, because He is well able to keep you, as well as restore unto you anything that may have been lost.

Matthew 6:25-26

25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body more than raiment?

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
